On 21st August 2025, Weida has the honour of welcoming 30 officers and engineers from Kelantan State Education Department (JPNK) to our Nilai plant. The visit was organized in conjunction with the ongoing maintenance, upgrading and refurbishment works for educational institutions under JPNK with a particular focus on ensuring the provision of high-quality and durable water storage solutions.
The session began with a welcoming speech and Weida group introduction by sharing the overview of Weida’s history, background, scale, and diverse business portfolio. This was followed by a product briefing which provided detailed insights on polyethylene (PE) water tanks, emphasizing the advantages of Weida advanced double-layer water tank technology.
After the presentations, the delegation embarked on a guided plant tour whereby they able to witness the state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, processes and stringent quality control procedures carried out by Weida’s Infrastructure Products team. A key highlight of the visit was the opportunity to view our 10,000-gallon double-layer tank, which drew strong technical appreciation as an improved solution for schools and educational institutions across Kelantan.
During the factory tour, visitors were further elaborated on the R450 model, showcasing its 10,000-gallon capacity along with a sectional cut access on the tank in order to allow the visitors to view the interior structure and understand the benefits of the double-layer technology. This demonstration highlighted how the design is engineered to deliver enhanced water quality monitoring and product durability advantages.
The visit concluded with a token of appreciation presented by Weida to the JPNK delegation as a gesture of gratitude for their time and collaboration.
