{"id":1941,"date":"2026-11-05T09:15:26","date_gmt":"2026-11-05T01:15:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.weida.com.my\/website\/?post_type=news-events&#038;p=1941"},"modified":"2026-11-05T09:15:28","modified_gmt":"2026-11-05T01:15:28","slug":"weida-strengthens-team-spirit-through-futsal-engagement-activity-2026","status":"publish","type":"news-events","link":"https:\/\/www.weida.com.my\/website\/news-events\/weida-strengthens-team-spirit-through-futsal-engagement-activity-2026","title":{"rendered":"Weida Strengthens Team Spirit Through Futsal Engagement Activity 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weida Marketing Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of WEIDA<strong>,<\/strong> organised the <strong>Weida Futsal Engagement Activity 2026<\/strong> on 31 October 2026 at Ultimate Sporthaus, Bandar Baru Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Held from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm, the event aimed to strengthen teamwork, encourage employee engagement, promote an active lifestyle and reinforce WEIDA\u2019s <strong>\u201cOne WEIDA, One Team\u201d<\/strong> spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tournament brought together <strong>10 teams<\/strong>, with participants representing Malaysia, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Nepal. A total of <strong>20 matches were played before the semi-finals<\/strong>, providing colleagues with an opportunity to engage and work together outside the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the preliminary rounds and semi-finals, <strong>P2 FC Myanmar<\/strong> and <strong>Bengal Tiger Bangladesh<\/strong> advanced to the final. P2 FC Myanmar secured the championship with a <strong>2\u20131 victory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activity formed part of WEIDA\u2019s efforts to strengthen employee engagement through shared experiences beyond day-to-day work.
